The Solution
On March 13th 2009 Glenn Beck challenged Americans to get active and form groups to not only show that there are more of us than there of them but also to organize to effect change. Glenn was very clear that he would not lead any movement that may form from the 9 12 project. Consequently, thousands of Americans began to form groups all across the country. These 9 12 and tea party groups began to organize peaceful public protests in hopes our government would listen to the pleas of the people.
The positive aspect of these protests was that Americans got off of their couches; the negative effect was this mass of people began going off in a thousand different directions with no long term strategy in place that would affect positive and permanent change. Most of these groups began to focus on political and social issues that require our legislation to agree to make change, or they made plans to attend or organize more tea parties with the same ineffective results. This is not a condemnation to those patriots who have committed to become active; it’s a matter of results of those actions that is important. Historically speaking, Protesting has never produced immediate and permanent results. We must consider a strategy that combines patriotic protests with a well thought out long term strategy that has the best opportunity to produce the long lasting results.
There are several ingredients necessary for a people to affect the kind of changes the tea parties represent. First, realize protests create a unity in principles and a common ground. There must also be a unity in body in which all 9 12 and tea party’ers can organize. So there must be a formula or strategy that will be effective. Secondly, there must be a source where people can be educated in the founding principles of our country and in our founding documents. This may sound unimportant, but I assure you it is the key ingredient to an effective strategy. Thirdly there must be a mechanism to peacefully unify the masses. And lastly, a vehicle must be designed that will provide those masses a way to affect real change.
Consider for a moment “the solution”. Education, unification and elections are the core fundamental ingredients to successfully return our country to its former greatness. To fully grasp “the solution” we must begin at the beginning. But first we must all sadly admit to ourselves that the vast majority of Americans know very little about our framers, our founding documents or the principles and values used to design our Constitutional Republic, and that statement includes me. Although our framers disagreed on many issues regarding the role of government, they all agreed on the most important necessity to establish a foundation based on the fundamental belief and acknowledgement of “Natural Law, The Nature’s God and the Nature of Things”. This most important fact has been removed or omitted from the public education process many of us were subject to, as well as our own children. In order to understand our founding documents we must first acquire the knowledge and understanding of the principles by which they were written.
"Natural rights [are] the objects for the protection of which society is formed and municipal laws established."
--Thomas Jefferson to James Monroe, 1797. ME 9:422
Now let’s ask the question, why is this knowledge so important? The simple fact is, we as Americans must arm ourselves with this knowledge in order to successfully “defend and preserve” our Liberty. Without this knowledge we only suffer confusion and division, ignorance and complacency, entitlement and lack of self reliance. When we are armed with this knowledge we become empowered with truth and justice, honor and integrity, self reliance and pride of country. Which will in fact, by Natural Law permanently defend and preserve our Liberty.
The next logical question is where can Americans go to acquire this knowledge in an organized and unified fashion? Let’s address that question after I outline the second ingredient to “the solution” which is unity.
We can all agree without any debate or disagreement there is an innate necessity for any group of likeminded people who desire to be effective in the pursuit of a goal or purpose is to unify as an well organized voice. And in that requirement there must be a rally point or organized structure or some cohesive element that will facilitate the effort to become unified.
There is an enhancement to public protests. Let’s consider for a moment before we explore that enhancement, the reasons and results of public protesting. The reasons can obviously be many, but let’s examine what is relevant for today. The tea party protests for example have become popular for Americans who are fed up with government intrusion and the threat of loss of Liberty among dozens of singular issues affecting our lives. There are three primary results of these protest efforts; one is the numbers of people who are becoming publicly active which is a positive result. The second and third result is the resistance of our legislation to act on the protest grievances, and physical unity only occurs in small groups which by themselves cannot effect change on any large scale, [except locally, which is very important]. I will reiterate that my comments are not a condemnation to the patriots who organized and attended any of the tea parties. I am simply making an observation with a logical conclusion.
Now that the reasons and results of public protests have been identified and briefly discussed we can now logically add a strategic plan of action for a more effective way to produce positive and permanent results.
Imagine with me for a moment, these same patriotic Americans gathering across our great nation in “celebration”. In celebration of our constitution and our liberty! I submit to you a grand event called a “Liberty Party” in which we will fulfill the third ingredient of unity necessary in this solution to successfully revive our nation. This will occur in two phases.
The first phase will be a synchronized effort to grow groups that spawn more groups that spawn even more groups that will spread from a nucleus outward until the entire state has been canvassed with hundreds of small manageable groups, which will have several layers of significance, one being, creating the ground work for planned and organized action including ballot access. A second layer will be an event called a Liberty party, which is a festive event that will bring friends and neighbors across town and community to celebrate our liberty. Planting a Liberty Tree to pay homage to our founders and too remember their sacrifices. Number three, is being training exercise for local leaders and organizers to duplicate the growth principles as well as event planning for a Liberty Party in their communities. And the fourth layer being that rally point or organized structure or cohesive element I spoke of earlier. The last layer is the uniqueness and diversity of community.
The second phase is as I stated “duplicate” the efforts of group growth and of the Liberty parties.
Join with me for a moment in our imaginations as we visit a Liberty party in progress.
As we arrive we see hundreds of people engaged in conversation, laughing and enjoying the sights and sounds of the celebration. We see lots of children running and having fun playing games with each other. The smell of barbeque and hotdogs fill the air. We are greeted as we approach like lifelong friends by people we have never met. A man begins to speak standing on a small raised stage; the crowd is dressed in festive cloths wearing red white and blue, many wearing ball caps with patriotic images. The words of unity and love of country emanate from the speakers on each side of the stage. The Boy Scouts of America are there earning their flag merit badges and planting the sapling Liberty Tree. A Liberty Tree plaque is being presented by a local business owner. There are veterans from World War II as well as from Viet Nam and Korea and younger veterans from the Gulf War and Iraq. The Color Guard from the local VFW is proudly displaying our United States flag as well as the State Flag. The Liberty Party lasts for hours with several speakers talking about our history and our Liberty and the greatness of our country. The hearts of the crowd fills with pride. A renewed feeling of hope and loyalty is felt by all. Fun and joyful activities are being played all over the grounds by young and old alike.
And as the celebration winds down a voice over the loud speakers says “now go back to your communities and duplicate what you have done here. Organize your neighbors and friends. This revolution begins at our schools boards and city councils, our chambers and businesses. Rise up and run for public office in your towns and districts. We must first make change in our own communities before we can make changes in our state and federal government!” Cheers and hoorays echo through the celebration.
The ultimate goal of the group organizing efforts and the celebration and ceremony of the Liberty Party and the Liberty Tree is to unify and organize the efforts of all patriotic Americans in a nationwide effort through peaceful and positive actions to displace the corruption and despotism rampant throughout all levels of government and current political party politics.
Now let’s examine the effectiveness of expanding the tea parties to include group growth and the Liberty Parties using the same logic I applied to public protests by themselves and identify the reasons and results.
The reason for this group growth and celebratory public display is to first acknowledge our fundamental principles and honor our founders and our founding documents. The lack of which, is the core causes of the issues we face. The issues themselves become irrelevant until the cause is corrected. To resolve the core causes will by Natural Law remedy the issues of corruption. Also a gathering in celebration creates a powerful motivation and meaningful camaraderie within a state and a community by focusing on attainable short and long term goals. The results have no negative affect because a clear focus has been defined, unity has been established and action is being taken.
Where the rubber meets the road is elections. We are all surly aware of the socialist direction of the Democrats and the principle compromising Republicans who’s party is crashing into the abyss. So, what can we do to gain access to any ballot across America without an established party?
This third ingredient is the National Liberty Party. Yes, a political party created and manned by grassroots Americans from New York to California, Michigan to New Mexico! A real and tangible entity powered by our constitution and built on the fundamental principles on which our Great County was founded. The motto being – “True American Politics; Natural Law, Honor and Public Service”. A party in which there will be no compromise of virtue or of principles. Before you argue the evils of a third party know this. To follow this strategy where education is the first priority and where unity is growing on a national level, where Americans across the country are taking back their towns and communities. It becomes simple mathematics that the support for the National Liberty Party will become a major party with in a very short period of time solely due to the massive grassroots efforts at the community level.
A small group of grassroots Americans has prepared a place where this strategy has been put into motion. It has through months of voluntary efforts and personal sacrifice grown into a political Action Committee (PAC). A strong leadership training program has been developed and put into place. There have been massive efforts labored to bring the best constitutional education to all Americans who are of like mind. Its staff is committed to the end.
